After many phone calls and long deliberation with George from Latrobe Speedway he felt it would be in the best interest of the District and the riders to move his August 8th MX Championship Series race to Field of Dreams, the date will stay the same August 8th.  This was not easy for George, he told me for everyone to watch his web site for an exciting announcement concerning an opportunity to ride the entire Latrobe Speedway Track.  Check them out at www.latrobespeedway.com 

The Under the Lights Race scheduled for this Sat at Plumcreek has been canceled.  We are working with Plumcreek to get their Under the Lights Series re-scheduled.  Please watch for updates.

Vacation Alert!  Any points turned in after Wednesday, July 21st will not be posted until after August 2, 2010.  The pointskeeper will be on vacation from July 22nd -August 2nd.   Good Luck at the races!!

The rescheduled date for the rained out event at Latrobe Speedway of July 9th will be made up on Friday July 16th. District 5 is in needed of help this weekend at Breezewood Proving Grounds. All flaggers must be at least 16 yrs of age.  If your interested in helping please e-mail to pointskeeper@zoominternet.net  Pam will add you to the list. We are in need of 10 flaggers. 

District 5 is very pleased to announce Feild of Dreams MX Park has re-joined with AMA District 5. For anybody who missed the spectacular race at Rocket Raceway on May 16th please head over to Eastmx.com to check out the awesome video that was shot that day. All the exciting action including thrills and spills and of course the memorial lap by Dunstin Kendall are included.

We can't thank Mark and Shelly Carlton enough for putting on one of the best events in District 5...we are proud of them. Once a year Rocket Raceway will hold a Jack Carlton Memorial Race, make sure you are at Rocket for the next one.
