The 2010 AMA racing rule books are now available for download here. We encourage all members and promoters within the RDO to familiarize themselves with the rules as governed by the AMA. If you have any questions regarding any rules, new or old, the District 5 referees Allen Lockhart for motocross and Ron Stetz for hare scrambles are well prepared to field any issues you may have.

Many people have asked "What happened to District 5"  Well,  we have had our set backs over the past few seasons but as you can see from all the information on the web site, District 5 is alive and well!  We continue to add new tracks, promoters and event dates every week. District 5 now focuses on all riding disciplines, from the dirt to the road.  Many people do not know that we (District 5) are the AMA RDO for District 5, the only recognized district organization authorized to represent clubs and promoters of all motorcycle disciplines to the AMA. We are here to work with and support all AMA Chartered Clubs and Promoters within the territory of AMA District (Western PA and all of WV) As well, work to build and strengthen with new clubs and promoters as we continue to work with and support the AMA.

Make sure to keep close watch on the web site through the winter months as new announcements are posted regularly.  MX, HS and SS (Stadium Style MX) 2010 series information will be posted soon.  As you see your race schedule is filling up fast. 

We start  HS racing in just a few short weeks, Jan 2nd (Quads) and 3rd (Bikes) In Romney WV.  Hang Over Hare Scrambles at it's best with the Maryland Comp Riders.
